Phonics University Student Code of Conduct: Upholding University Values and Discipline

At Phonics University, students are required to ensure that the University’s honor and reputation are maintained at all times and in all places. Students must wear the University uniform during all academic and extra-academic activities on campus unless otherwise specified. Wednesdays are designated as casual days, but students should ensure that their casual attire remains appropriate and decent.

All students must always carry their photo identity card (Student ID Card) while on Phonics University campus for identification purposes. Students are expected to demonstrate values such as humility, obedience, compassion, and respect in all interactions.

Students are encouraged to move quietly through the campus corridors to avoid disrupting ongoing classes and laboratory sessions. Sitting on parapet walls is prohibited. For any academic-related concerns, students should first approach the teacher responsible for the subject. If the matter is not resolved within two working days, students may contact the Dean or Dean of Student Welfare for further assistance.

In case of hostel-related issues, students should contact the respective warden first. If the issue remains unresolved within two working days, students may escalate the matter to the Chief Warden or Dean of Student Welfare. For any other personal or professional grievances, students can reach out to their class teacher, HOD, or Dean/DSW.

Strict policies are in place against drinking alcohol, substance abuse, smoking, and chewing tobacco on Phonics University premises. Students engaging in such activities will face severe disciplinary action, which may include suspension or expulsion.

Students are prohibited from organizing meetings, entertainment programs, or collecting money for any purpose within the University campus without obtaining prior approval from the competent authority.
